@SuperOniichan: Almost no one explicitly knows Suzu or Matsuri are in love. It's basically just Matsuri's grandfather, Shirogane, and maybe Garaku.
I'm glad it's not a harem (so far) because it's tiresome for a bunch of the cast to be heavily characterized by a one-sided romance for the same person. There
are (pseudo)-harem romances that give the protagonist's relationships more depth than that (even without reciprocating their feelings), and their suitors characterization even apart from the object of their affection, but it's just as well to try something else.
