other than gender bending I don't see much to compare with ranma
rather I actually end up comparing it to inuyasha, and especially will if it doesn't end here and the jinyo becomes even more of a naraku-like antagonist (I.e. didn't seem like such a big deal at first but then it just won't fucking die and keeps on picking up new tricks.)

@1234muse Ranma? Ranma only periodically turned into a girl, and not vice versa. It wasn't ecchi manga though.

Good chapter. And I'm wondering if Yabuki will immediately let Matsuri revert back to female, or retire that plot element.

The thing is, Yabuki never really "used" it properly. Ninokuru blushed a few times, but otherwise, Matsuri didn't change at all, and he didn't have any interactions with anyone he wouldn't have had as a guy. Normally this plot element is interesting, but it wasn't so here.

Hmm... now that I think about it, the jutsu itself is probably something that converts Matsuri's own energy somehow, so I'm betting that once he gets some sleep and reverts, it'll automatically re-girl-ify him.

Is it me or the antagonist looked a lot like Kakine Tritoku from Toaru series? He even got destroyed the same way in NT6
