The LN's pretty good but there is a lot of situations like this. Characters acting out of extremely little though or foresight. She could of pretty much killed herself and all the guards with this move but it worked out in the end. Lot's of things like this.

Basically they are 'ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA' gauntlets. As far as I can tell the magic of them as described just puts an unending amount of attacks in the exact same spot you swung until you end the effect. (basically if the enemy is knocked back at all the attack won't land. Vice versa, if you are punching a castle wall it'd be a jackhammer.) All his weapons are fucking absurd and yet he still doesn't use them great.

To be entirely fair......that's kinda just Lexia's thing. Absurd luck that protects her and zero regard for personal safety. Only one other character remotely matches her airheadedness and she still doesn't openly jump into the jaws of danger on purpose, she just misunderstands precisely how dangerous things are. (Which to be fair, she has what amounts to a immortal demi-god watching over her every time so the danger IS practically nil.)
