Until some time ago I thought Mikarin had concrete chances, but with yhe last two arcs being all about Lilysa, I don't see that happening.
Another thing that it's not happening, but I think could make for a nice ending, is Lilysa losing the competition and Okumura telling her that whipe her rival made the better costume this made him realize that he loves her as a 3d girl and not the character. But again, there is no way this isn't going to end with the main heroine being crowned as the bestest Lilliel ever. Let's just tone down a bit the rethoric that you can save the world with cosplay, ok?

I've said it in a previous chapter, but I would've liked more if the story stayed focused on the manga club instead of introducing cosplay battles, legendary cosplayers and going pro. But I guess the target audience are people much more into the cosplay culture than myself.

while i think the "shounen" aspect of the cosplay battles in this manga were ALWAYS the main focus
this mix of "what the future have in store for them" that shounen usually do kinda doesnt mix well with the series overall... i guess a series about "battles" without actual battles shouldnt get too ambitious

plus i know the romance was like second or third here, but man it feels bad for Mikarin to suddenly lose all her momentum
that "even without senpai..." bit was devastating, now its either a Lilysa win or no one wins at all

Those words from Lilysa sound like she's forcing the ultimate cucking onto Mikarin. Don't give me the vapid "You'll still be you", Okumura getting together with Lilysa would be an unsurmountable strike for Mikarin and she'll obviously drift away from both of them and the club.
There has been so much buildup about her long lasting unconditional love, and too many inner monologues from Okumura finally acknowledging her feelings and understanding her actions...and yet they haven't adressed them properly in a conversation. I still have hopes that he's doing this comiket as his last job to boost Lilysa as a cosplayer, so he can move on to properly face Mikarin and confess his love to her.
Yeah I know, I'm absolute high on hopium, but I just don't see Okumura and Lilysa as a couple. There has been too many ambiguous words and situations that make me doubt his love for her is romantic.

Unfortunately i think you're right, my prediction maybe okumura with lilisa and Mikarin with tsubaki (well, since yuri is not out of options). But i still had a little bit of hope. The thing is there's so much build up about mikarin long time crush on okumura and okumura sorting out his feelings and yet it never been adressed properly by far, so i guess the author would bring it up for the final. This could go two way, 1) okumura realize his feelings and Mikari wins or 2) okumura realize and adressed his feelings but it's too late and he choose lilisa while Mikarin move on.



By the looks of it, it's most likely the latter. Yet, i am still hoping nontheless

I think, it could go either way from here :

1) just like you said, okumura realize his feelings and Mikari wins
2) okumura realize acknowledge his feelings that he indeed loves Mikarin, yet he realize it too late and know fall in love with lilisa. While Mikarin accept that and finally move on.

For me the latter is the most heart breaking, but unfortunately the most likely to happen. To be honest i don't want that to happen at all, but it's not my manga, let see where the author goes about this now. But if this story is indeed the pararell of ashford chronicles, then i hope the girl who love her man with all her heart gets rewarded in the end, and the way i see it, the liliel, the "real" liliel in 2.5 dimensional seduction is not lilisa, but Mikarin.

japanese people really don't like seeing the second character that comes on screen to win.
