Cool how they show the key differences between the "ascended" cats and the more classic animalistic ones.

Sora has the capacity to fight against his nature if he feels like it, he can just say no to food at his own will.

I am seriously curious about the kitten. Is it going to be a nameless savage forever, or can it learn to speak and earn a name?

All we've really learned so far is that there are feral homeless cats (Sora) who are sentient and can speak, but are there ones who can't ever learn?

200 yen is super cheap (for Japan), that's like $1.25 US. Even with 200 years of inflation in the year 2200! But maybe they've had a lot of deflation too.

Edit: So since I was curious, I looked it up... a Big Mac is 480 yen in Japan. So this is 40% the cost of a Big Mac in whatever your local currency is!

yeah a one hundred yen increase as something 'nicer' isn't too unreasonable XD; but i'd expect cats to have no sense of value and being like "it's a thousand yen more but there's like .5 grams more meat inside"

I increasingly appreciate how the author renders Sora with more dignified lines or comically crude depending on context. (Sora got only the crude treatment these past two chapters.)
