I said this before... but the artist surprises me a lot... the art style is cutesy, but it has a mean bite to its action and design... look at the "joints" of this form Blood took... it is full of pustules, oozing pus, like they are the physical manifestation of the degradation of Blood's mind and spirit... this is nightmarish, really cool choice.

I feel like this is a surprise third phase... like... Scarlet hit a secret trigger by choosing the wrong dialogue option, and what was going to be the second phase turned into this monstrosity.
