As a D&D/tabletop nerd, I can tell you that fighters (the class) have a good Fortitude saving throw (making them better at shrugging off physical ailments and hardships) but bad stats for Reflex and Will saving throws, such as those used for dramatic dodge-rolls and withstanding mental witchery. Thus, him failing to withstand spoopy succubus charm totally checks out. ?
