Hehe, I kid you not, I legit saw people genuinely upset by the ending. Look at the title. Look at the genres. Look at the summary. What tf did they think was gonna happen?? Why did they read it?? Don't get me wrong, I'm no kink-shamer, I've just never heard of the "successfully resisting temptation to break a taboo" one. To each their own 🤷

It ended well for everyone, somehow. Even the villain got better than he deserved. And he seemed like he saw the silver lining in the consequences he did get. I think his circumstances were driving him a bit nuts. Maybe he'll straighten up 🤷 The MC and Karen look like they're gonna be fine. Both her guardians approve ( with a lot of info to base their decisions on) and they didn't make any dangerous enemies.
