well, nice to see that the drama didn't drag on at all

mahiro was quite mature and open about it all, making kazuki realise what she was doing and pushing her to face her feelings and communicate <--- the keys to any relationship

also glad to see Mahiro's goal was actually to get proper closure (and not the plot point of wanting to be with kazuki even after many years) and being able to move forward with (presumably) her gf

Mahiro was always pretty mature and straightforward with her feelings, here. I think people assumed a lot into her character that wasn't yet shown to be there. Glad this didn't drag on as well.

Anyway, because everyone seems to be serious about this chapter, i agree that mahiro-san wasn't adding more fuel to nanami-san's problem. That's one of a real quick settlement i've ever read in manga. I hope mahiro-san is doing good after this. Also the best for nanami-san and kaede-san.

But regardless of Mahiro actions what bothered me the most was Nanami who was again at mercy. Also, Kaede really only sent one message in what seemed like a week alone? Quite disappointing, both.
This time i dont think Nanami will tell the true of where she was.

Kaede wasn't alone, Koyuki was with her, because of their manuscript deadline with the added color pages.

Also, adult relationships are sometimes messy, especially when unrequited (or perceived unrequited) feelings are involved. It's far too easy to end up stuck in one's head about things if that person is also conflict averse and trying to escape emotional discomfort and turmoil.

Which is why Mahiro as a character was beneficial. She was seeking her own closure, sure, but she was an outside perspective to Nanami who could offer insight from an angle that Nanami couldn't see from where she was tunnelvisioned on trying to put Kaede first.
