I mean despite her habits ,it is clear she is a fairly responsible person , the signs being she was for saving the money she won , her way of interacting with her niece etc . I think that's a big part of what sora loves about her too ! , someone who cares and acts on that care even if it involves going out of her comfort zone or any particular need to ,and personal opinion I think sora is the opposite , so she is drawn to tsuki chan and probably considers her her light ,someone who illuminated her dark days(since she was planning to run away from home , it must have been a dark time of her life)

Definitely more to her story if she can just brush off her mom's death and spend that much effort on avoiding going home.

sora didn't brush off the death, she's just been trying to and failing. the whole reason tsuki started this conversation is because she's been acting weird.

Yeah you should keep reading it i think. There are a lot of good yuri mangas what are very subtle about such things as love. They leave a lot of stuff for interpretation of the reader. Even if they wouldn't scream about a love for eachover, Kuzushiro in this one caught a very specific feeling of two broken girls in their 30s carrying for eachover. Their love is very subtle, like the only string what keeps them both from droping down into abyss adulthood of broken dreams, but it is nostalgic and sincere

If you want a straightforward romance though i can suggest you to read "still sick", "2dk, g-pen, alarm clock" and "partition" they are adult, dramatic, romantic and cute

Its tagged as "subtext" on the Dynasty... Idk if i should keep reading this😓
