When it said "Chapter 14 End. Please look forward to the next release!" A surge of terror ran through my body, for I had been convinced that this was actually chapter 13, and the next chapter was already the conclusion to the manga.
The sigh of relief I felt upon realizing my mistake... Priceless.

Why are most of the mature, gorgeous and confident female characters in anime and manga either lesbians, rivals, or just side characters? It feels like most authors who write straight romance are interested in exclusively shy girls, tomboys or girl next girl.

@SuperOniichan The same reason why most male MCs mature, handsome and confident. To make the characters relatable and have them overcome many obstacles.

But you are a woman, and you want him to bring you into his apartment. That's a catch-22 right there.

Oh, that’s some excellent progression. The whole getting jelly stuff was awesome. Also, I’m glad she didn’t overreact when she saw them on the ground. Her actual reaction felt more in line with her personality.

Food for thought: from page 15 onwards, when Rika is speaking with Takuya, I assume it'd be in Japanese instead of English, so theoretically they can speak about their "secret" openly in front of Claudia without her knowing what's going on. Unless it's revealed in the future that Claudia knew Japanese all along, in which case more plots emerge. I wouldn't be surprised at, or mind that kind of twist tbh.

Also, there's no dialogue spoken in this chapter to "misunderstand" by Rika eavesdropping like in a lot of western romcoms (because Takuya is ideally friendly and hospitable), which is great because I hate those kind of cliche situations, but I wonder if Rika can understand much English as well, as she didn't react with the conversation between Claudia and Takuya much.
