We all know he's going to consume that thing the snake dropped eventually. But this is longstrip. These are pretty slow burn type of stories 9/10 times. He might not do that until his strength is pretty ridiculous and he decides he doesn't want to look like Major Armstrong after all.
All the comments about him not thinking int is worth it: His int is too low to see the value in the stat, duh.
Nurse has found an oasis in the desert, and its name is abs. Kid is probably not used to women being romantically or physically interested in him (he didn't really seem to noticed healer chick asking him to treat her to dinner was just an excuse to spend time together outside of a hunt). I'm preparing for blackhole levels of density.
Also, 2,000,000 won should be roughly $1,600 to $1,700 so that is a pretty nice pay day for being a pack mule, but that should also quite vividly tell you how much danger they're expecting in there and how they're expecting to make so much money that they can afford to throw that kind of cash around at people who are just carrying their shit for them for one hunt.
The contract also suggests they're totally not expecting him to survive if anything even so much as sneezes in his direction in there. Hell, maybe they're planning on killing the extras they hired themselves or letting the monsters get them for an MPK sort of deal. Everyone's been too nice to him so far despite how weak he was and how much power should matter to these people. We're about due for some fuckery that doesn't just involve people in a crisis losing their nerve and fleeing.
