I've sold my soul to the devil just so I can continue to update Koi Inu. I have entered a partnership with SquigglesJP where I do the drudge work on 2 series for Squiggles (Hime no Dameshi and I'm a NEET and My Elder Sister is Perverted) in exchange for Squiggle's excellent translation of Koi Inu. And so, Koi Inu continues without interruption!

For someone who is portrayed as level-headed and rational, Takakura-kun showed a side of his nature that certainly is not very admirable. I suppose it was played for laughs, though I didn't find it very funny myself.

I just binge read this whole series and I don't understand why this author makes the two main characters act in such dumb ways. Chiyo more so but Igarashi too, he pouts like a little bitch while she just screams and gets angry. I mean I understand why - drama gets readers but the author does it in a really cheap way.

@cofi023 Wow! Binge reading 160+ all in one go? I guess Coco must be doing something right if you didn't drop the series somewhere along the line. I wouldn't call the characterization of the MCs cheap. Instead, I'd call it a pretty realistic portrayal of a young couple, inexperienced in love, who each have their own quirks. I have met women who act over the top like Chiyo, and I, myself, have done dumb and idiotic things like Igarashi, as well pouting and sulking. It's easy to criticize their actions since we are on the outside looking in and we can see the bigger picture. We know, for example, that Igarashi is madly in love with Chiyo and wouldn't look twice at another woman, but we also know that, because of Chiyo's inherent inability to be open and honest, she has no faith in Igarashi.

Fuck, I remember reading this series over a year ago and getting pissed on the main couple. Managed to catch up today and I'm still pretty salty about how stupid they are.
