The very obvious conclusion is that she is in a loveless marriage but i wonder how the author would expand on that.

The thing is, with people that cheat (even tho we don't have the full story of the lady yet) is that if you, hypothetically, end up with them: can you fully 100% trust the person for them not to do it again? Would you be able to live accepting them? (Well, they are a fucked up pair of individuals for better or worse so they'll have to live or die their own way)

This is a guy who is so desperate and nihilistic, he breaks into a lady's house to rob and rape her. It just so happens that she's a thot looking for excitement and lets him.
Then the story does a 180 and this savage man becomes baka MC-Kun who runs away from girls when they want to fuck him.
The later chapters violate the characterization of the protagonist from the early chapters.
Looks like the author's own personality is contaminating the pure character of this wild man.

The art is really solid, but the way the author handles the MC in the current chapter feels ... wrong.

@ScratchCard I think you're looking at things totally wrong there. The guy was desperate yes but not really nihilistic and its not like his actions really spoke of any courage or anything different from later parts of the story.
Did you think they guy just wanted to die for no reason? Did you think he didn't have enough money to simply treat himself to a small trip because he was socially and financially active?

What 'wild man' are you talking about, I think its rather the opposite that you projected a bit onto the character and it prevented you from seeing things as they were. That's why you think there has been a shift in character now.

Yea I think the coming back to find everyone abandoned him and didn't believe him at all was the nail in the coffin. I mean getting accused is bad, serving time on false charges would be worse, but the true kicker is to really have no one on your side even after you supposedly 'did your time'.
