Axeman paid them a visit and it really showed. Still, I enjoyed reading it.
Thank you for these past two months of work @LonelyDarlingUwU

damn the childhood friend won :angery:

Technically she's a fake childhood friend so this doesn't count, they first met in high school.

I wonder if editors looked at the script and saw "childhood friend winning" then immediately decided to axe the series

..... That's it lol?
Its not bad at all but damn I dont even know how to feel. Glad he got happy ending but the whole vibe feels weird. I guess author had an intention of not making them go back to the way it was before all this timeline fuckup shit. Also no conclusion for all the other girls. Good overall I guess. 7/10

Is it really an axe though? It looks like this manga could benefit from another chapter or two, but that would mean the authors need to write a whole additional volume to get it published. Could it be that they just think it's better to cut it short instead of padding the story up for 3/4 of a book?

I discover this manga today and hooked on the first few chapters, but seeing its completed status and only 3 volumes I wonder what happen for it to be axed? Is it because the author sick? Or the artist step down? No way this good of a manga axed because it's bad! Is what I think... but after reading chapter 10 I finally understand why it got axed.

In short, the author simply doing what Minemori did on her novel, interesting first chapters and then adding nonsense plot for the last few chapters. Ignoring the characters for the sake of plot. Totally destroying on what potentially a good romcom that may span many volumes or even anime.

Thanks for the TL
still sucks that it got axed but to be honest i do see the potential in the story, just make sure the main heroine is more likeable, add some foreshadowing and clues in early chapters, the pacing is whack and the story could use some tweaking but i figured that the axe is the main reason for it. Otherwise the art is pretty good, looking forward for the artists future work

Okay so that was the thought process.. I kinda get why Yosuga is straight up crazy but damn that ending is a overloaded one, I still like it anyway.

Definitely an axe. The wall of texts hints at a whole second story line that was planned. Which would need foreshadowing, build up and additional character development to work properly. One or two chapters wouldn't be enough for that. They would be barely enough for a flashback of Yosuga sama. I also doubt the "childhood friend twist" was originally planned to be revealed in a single diary flashback.

Ended in a pretty nice spot! Didn't drag the story on for too long, everyone gets a happy ending so I don't get depressed after reading. Nice.

I can't believe this is so entertaining. I don't expect the twist too. But, shiiieeet this is so good. the plot is thick but a bit rushed IMO. But I like how it ended. The back story is explained well enough and the ending is also good. I hope the author makes another one as kicked as this one.

BRAVO to the author.

The various plotholes make it less enjoyable, but is nice to see the author being able to roll everything in a decent ending even after being given the axe.
Readers with some experience can easily see the axe at chapter 10, after that the story rushed to answer questions at the best it could and as fast as possible.
The author even did his best in saving all girls life, I feel like the insane goddess doesn't really deserve a second chance, but at the same time she was mad in the brain.
Childhood freind is the one hard to accept as GF, when she didn't mean to kill MC family in the least is true that through her wish they died and MC developed into a loner, sure, it was the goddess making sure it would develop that way, but come on.
I think it was a mistake to make childhood friend say she could never bring herself to suicide, as we know she did do it.
Hard to understand if goddess had it all planned through her powers or not, maybe she couldn't ask people to grant her wish or help them find the key, could be a plot hole in the axe rush, she knew everything too so her friend escape and her inability to see their actions makes no sense, unless for the strain she had a limited field of vision, could only use on a certain range around or it took some tim eto adapt to the power and her friend died in that while.
But she should have know that sick girl would have killed her, unless again, her power/curse didn't work on herself.
Fact remains she killed 4 people, 2 innocents, 1 unkown, 1 bad.

In the end for the axe the ending did gave some answers but remained a bit of a mess, was hoping in a bit of harem, that is not totally impossible.

It reminded me a lot of the story with the failure MC that had to get a girlfriend or a shinigami would have killed him, so he confesses to multiple girls at once and everyone accepts, so now he have to multi date them without being discovered because if one leaves him and the news spreads the others would leave him too and the shinigami would kil lhim.

For 15 chapters I really enjoyed this manga, while I think the ending could of been fleshed out just a bit more, overall it was a solid read. We also now know how she exploded in her initial sucide attempt (Running in front of a train). I actually enjoyed the plot twist and like how the childhood friend rejects him because she doesn't want be considered a criminal, which was actually quite funny. I wish we would of got a bit more panels about them as a couple towards the end but that's just personal preference. I would definitely recommend giving this a read if someone is on the fence of reading this.

As always, the most boring girl wins on the end thanks to the power of the sad background story. Well it could be worse, anyway, good manga. Not too long, not too short, it could be a bit longer though.
