So, what sort of responsibilities does a guild license actually have anyway? I assumed it allowed you to take work with a guild, kinda like registering with a temp agency. If that were the case there is no real reason not to reinstate, other than perhaps the dude who hexed him finding out because they have connections in the guild system.

@icarushector he's been cursed , meaning if he got his license back it would become public that he dispelled his curse (while people won't know why he got it removed in the first place the one who did it will instantly know) while it make it easier to get a free pass every where it kinda make you more vulnerable in the sense that your skill level would be publicly exposed don't you agree ?

You kinda become a pawn, when under the guild's hold. You need to constantly be checking in and delivering goods/services and can and will be at their beck-n-call should the need arise. And when you're at the top, it's even worse. Usually...

Plus, for him at least, I bet there is a sense of grief. I think he realized that being at the apex was nothing but hassle. He had to always be on missions of extreme importance, against the demon lord- or whatever the fuck. He was hexed and nearly lost his life over some misguided jealousy/pride. And when he was at his lowest, those closest to him just threw him away. The guild included. Granted, the guild was likely pressured by """an unseen hand""". But, they abandoned him all the same. I wouldn't want back into that life.

Pg. 5: "No, I think I'm gonna to stop after all." (Either remove "to", or change "gonna" to "going.") On a different note, at least this arc seems really finished (as opposed to all the abrupt ends so far).

@Firecamp Yep, the guy is smart. If he was hexed then someone has it in for him. Being reactivated would tell his enemy that he is back before he knows who that enemy is.

That would be a lot of money he donated to the orphanage. He is a pretty decent guy, but I don't understand why he'd turn away getting his license back as that would open up more jobs to him. Unless having membership means that the government can call on you. Might cause allen to come for him.

I'm glad that this isn't one of those manga where they get their license back and have to start back at the lowest rank. He was literally known before as one of the party members in the hero party, one of the best. If this was just a "I need to rank up again" kind of deal, I'd just drop this cause there are so many other manga with that trope
