Page 17: Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel about this series nowadays. It doesn't matter what new baddies show up or how hard the regular heroes get beat, it's just a matter of holding out till Saitama wanders over and one punches the problem away and it's getting stale.

On a more "serious" side note (Spoilers from the webcomic):
Everyone who read the webcomic knows this guy ain't the true final boss. The Garou fight is gonna be Fuckin' hype as FUCK boiii. Also its so great to see Saitama again.

Boros and
Awakened Garou
weren't defeated in one punch. The arcs after this one don't even follow this formula.

This is arguably easier than the fight he had with the alien boss (forgot the name). At least Saitama had to get serious and unleashed series of punches for a beatdown, not to mention getting smacked so hard he flew to the moon.

I would suggest that the fights themselves aren’t really the point. Of course, we all take away different messages and themes, that’s for sure.
To me, the series isn’t so much about emotional weight of the fights themselves as it is about showing great spectacles through the fights while utilizing them to explore what are, in my opinion, even more interesting themes, of which this chapter worked very well. An anticlimax that perfectly demonstrates how Saitama feels each time he wins.
Obviously the most stand out elements or most apparent are the comedy, artwork, and action scenes. However, I’m sure the emotional weight of character motivations and such differ person to person. Not ripping on you or anything by the way, just chiming in with my two cents. 🙂

@udomsa33 agreed , but i dont think its about the fights , its how everyone looks down on him cause of how he looks and acts , and yet is beyond everyone and they don't know it but like king , genos and the sister of the midget forget there names well i guess silver fang noticed it to

@ThesecondchosenOne @GoddamnWeebs Pretty sure it's gonna end with Garou as center fighting the B/A heroes and then his master and Genos, so this season isn't for Saitama but for Garou, so the anime will end with that fight and elder Centipede and then maybe a teaser of what's next... Assuming this is gonna be a 12 or 13 episodes season.

Everyone so upset that Orochi didn't give Saitama the fight he was looking for...

whole time forgetting this isn't DBZ, Bleach, YYH or any other Shonen it's poking fun at and the comedy therein lies with the fact that he will never not one punch someone.

ONE is hilarious by getting folks hyped letting someone/something survive one punch......aaaand then they die on the second punch lmao.

Yall need to remember this isn't a shonen, and it damn sure isn't anything remotely serious except when they pan over to Genos finding this robotic menace, Otherwise, it's a comedy, a parody of those predictable shonen plots and characters. And hopefully ONE doesn't give anyone the idiotic fan service of him finding a true fight, unless it's like the very last chapter. Even then i'd like him to have to fight Blast and he's hyped by this type of community to be potentially as strong as Saitama (or he is Saitama) and then boom, one punches Blast. Roll credits.

@T-Dizzle that is literally the premise of this whole series. I'm surprised it took you this long to find it "stale."

Also, Boros is still the strongest enemy Saitama has "fought".
Monster Garou will be 2nd to that, but Saitama KNOWS that dude is human so he doesn't even punch him. That's why he does the headbutt and shit, those aren't one shot kills for him. Honorable :')
and then idk Vaccine Man, Gouketsu, G-Shoop, Carnage Kabuto or Orochi.

Doesn't really matter after Boros tbh, he's blatantly stronger than anyone else, maybe make a case for Tatsumaki with feats but meh, feels doubtful.

Orochi had to get real serious real quick when trying to catch a beat down half conscious Garou at first soooo idk how strong that big fella really was.

All I know is

1. Boros
2. Boros (Armored)
3. Monster Garou (Perfect Cell Final Form)
4. Who gives a fuck / Rover
5. etc;
6. etc;

you dont get typical shonen enemies where everyone that follows the next is more powerful than the last. OPM is more realistic, he fought the planet buster universal world champion and conqueror of universes in Boros and blew em up. Took 2 punches also and a trip back from the moon. If i get some road rage in traffic and end up fighting someone, and then it happens again every week later for a year straight im not going to keep climbing up some ladder of fighting skill and might until my traffic fighting saga places me against Anderson Silva on I-95 behind the jersey wall. It's ridiculous lol.

tldr; show is funny stop making it serious & Lord Boros will go down as the 2nd most powerful character by the end of OPM.

the end. sorry for talking so much :/
