I couldn't bring myself to complete the first episode of the anime sigh. The manga has such a charming, airy, tastefully careless art quality. In contrast, the anime's colors are overly saturated, and the lining too heavy, in my opinion. It's like olive oil versus recycled fast food grease...
I wouldn't have minded if they did something experimental like Aku no Hana, at least it would've made for a unique viewing experience. I'll get around to watching more episodes of the anime eventually, but I'm hesitant to return to what seems to be a lackluster rehash of my favorite manga.
