I'm not reading all 900+ posts before this but...

Tadano did tell Manbagi that he didn't have someone he really liked... At least meaning he hasn't reached the point in saying he loves Komi even though he really likes her...

Manbagi just realizes who Komi likes and it's tough on her because she really likes Komi...

But I don't think it means she needs to let go of her feelings for Tadano... She can decide to be friendly rivals and tell Komi that.

I mean they still have a whole school year year three ahead of them to work it out right?

Kind of what's happened recently in Gal Gohan. Such a sweet chapter.

Sure many manbagi lovers that cry in this chapter, but the reason i cannot support manbagi is simply due the nature of this manga, Komi as much as many people literally worship her as a perfect human species, but deep inside she very lonely due to her severe communication problem, no one understand her, no one know what she want. and then came Tadano who understand her and save her from her loneliness support and help her to get new friend to communicate with other, if you follow this manga from the very beginning even one shot, so i can't imagine how Komi life without tadano who already understand and care for her, if you support tadano with manbagi, do any guarantee that komi ever found someone like Tadano ?, as for manbagi i do empathize with her current state, but she come almost 100 or so chapter, sure author is cruel to just introduce her as umm how do i put it a "convenient device" and " cannon fodder" which in my opinion is really unnecessary seeing Komi and tadano steadily progress in their relationship (one of the factor i like this manga to begin with) and unlike komi she can communicate with other normally albeit little awkward and many people seem adore her, i'm sure she can find her happiness elsewhere without tadano at her side, Komi and tadano are made for each other (IF author want to make ending like that, unless author want take usual bullshit open ending ending)

I'm definitely in the Komi camp... But I have grown to like Manbagi... She's a cute character.

This manga is not the type that there will be a character left hurt..., at least the feel I get...

So if Manbagi realizes Komis love and let's go of hers here that's fine. But if she decides to have a friendly rivalry then that shouid be cool too and sure it would be done where they are both still the best of friends like I used Gal Gohan as an example.

Like I said there is still a while school year left so gotta give the author more material to write about eh?

Manbagi is really lonely too, y'know. That's what makes this a knife-twister.

Of course her attraction to Tadano is very much a teenage girl crush (squealing into her pillow, flopping around on the bed type stuff) while Komi's feelings are based on mutual respect.

It would be nice if Komi ever got to support Tadano in something the way he's been supporting her. That's probably the only way he'll ever realize he has a shot.
