Why are you using images from a manhwa that isn’t your own project? Why does it matter whether or not if the group is big or small? Why, why and why? You are making it seem like the Quote Unquote Bigger group is pressuring you to drop. They gave you options. They never told you to “Drop it, or otherwise...” this is sad. This is the internet. Sure scanlator etiquette is a thing but like...??? You could’ve worked together, which is apparent that you guys came to a disagreement. Anyways, this message makes the readers believe that you were forcibly told to drop it. With the “bigger groups influence oh no”. You had no need to post this on mangadex. You could have edited the first chapter to include a note saying “We will be dropping this project, but the other group will still be doing it after we had came to a disagreement.” There, no need to stir tea publicly. No need to shade the other group. This is pointless in the fact that this puts the other group in a bad light. Just announce this on discord where it isn’t as public but will still get the point across to the readers.

We had never forced you to do anything. We released our version just a couple of hours after. The leader of devil & angel scan messaged me demanding Solace to drop this project. I told her we can both continue releasing our own versions or we can release alternating chapters, to which their group said no to both and demanded that we drop it.

This message is very misleading and looks like an attempt to stir public drama between groups. I have the conversations to prove what happened so please stop spreading a false or misleading narrative. Especially in this case, when devil and Angel's scan is the group that refused to let us do our thing.

You're right, we should delete this and I'm trying to convince our staff to but! @Origami_Delights. Why are you nitpicking on the chapter that isn't our own project? I believe some of high end groups have already said that: "There is no written rule in 2 people doing a project." When, technically, there is no written rule, but it is an unspoken rule that wasn't made up just overnight but in many years already. Of course, the group matters if it's small or not because they do have backing from not only their many followers, but also from other renowned scanlation groups am I right? They never told us to "Drop it" however as I said before there IS an unspoken rule that had to be kept. But this team didn't. They sniped (they released it AFTER us) and we don't approve of that which is why we didn't want to collab at first. We (me) did in the end came up with the solution with doing an alternation collab since both of our groups didn't want to give it up. The leader replied to me by she will talk it out with the staff. The staff however, went into our server and told the leader that we were "badmouthing" her group although I never did. I got accused of doing things I never intended to and never did. I made a mistake that I already pointed out. Before all this, when I texted the leader for the collab I actually apologized for being reluclant in wanting to keep this project to ourselves. Surely, as you said "scanlation etiquette" which means you do know that this certain team, shouldn't have done what they've done. A fact is that we NEVER told our fans that they "forced" us to stop this project. We came into this conclusion ourselves. I never threw shade at anyone but they did to me!!!! I was in my server group chat being confronted by a friend of the leader!! How do you think that feels??? You tell us not to throw shade at anyone which I never did but they threw shade at me for being disrespectful and that I should keep apologizing even after not apologizing themselves! I had to be the one to ask for an apology. Do you think this is correct????? Now, you yourself are throwing shade at us no? Anyways, don't worry I will concince them to delete this post because you are right about ONE THING. This shouldn't have been publicized.
