Honestly this chapter felt kinda heavy.
I never realized this before but the characters of this series can't all live like Martial Arts Hobos
Some of them have REAL lives to worry about, jobs to go to, fight contracts to fulfill(like Seki), relationships to maintain, political shit getting in the way(like Saw Pang) and so and so forth.
That's the kinda thing that sucks about real life. At some point ya gotta hang up the gloves or make compromises to hold onto the life of a fighter. Happy to see Rihito is back so people in the comments can shut up about calling him a Jobber. It was also nice to see that Rei's girl actually does give a shit about him despite how much everyone hated them both. Overall though, I say its bull shit to claim Jose's fight was one sided when he BROKE THE F**KERS ARM! That and Seki has no business putting so much faith in Koga when he's still so insignificant on in terms of the Kengan Food chain. Kid is gonna get Yamchaed and HARD! For the most part, solid chapter.

Hm... The Kure clan played such a significant role in Kengan Asura, but now, suddenly, they're nowhere to be seen. Kinda disappointed. Maybe we'll be surprised at the last moment and they'll allow one of their pros into the tournament.

It was a while back but Yamashita had a Kure representative working with him. She said that all of their fighters were already contracted for other jobs - their main job being assassins. More curious was that the Rep. said she was still on the man-hunt that Yamashita assigned her on. Don't believe we've ever followed up on who that person is that she's trying to find. Raian was specifically noted as missing since the last tournament. Now we also hear Sen is missing. And our lightning boi is also missing though it seems like his boss knows his location.

Seems like something fishy is going on. Too many of the top fighters have just sort of vanished.
Maybe they're doing a training camp, or the worse possibility of them having already joined Purgatory.
There's also always the trope of them showing last second to fill the void of fighters right before the matches begin.
