Nice as a chapter.
But someone could explain to me, because I'm not sure I understood everything at one time.
So, in Ehas, the country of Pauliana, there are 25 soldiers in a platoon, 4 platoon leader in a squadron (therefore 100 soldiers), 5 squadron commanders in a battalion (500 soldiers).
And for Acrea it's 10 soldiers in a Battalion, 10 Head Battalion then a Commander.
Is that right, or did I misunderstand somewhere? I'm not really sure ...
In any case it is the moment for Pauliana to show the skills that she could not exploit in the army of her country.
...

There's something about the eyepatch + cane combo that just works for Pauliana. Look at her hammering that map with her cane like a pro. She's still a bit young for it now, but I really want to see her after thirty years or so, when she's a grizzled old general covered in scars, barking orders to her subordinates, while new recruits whisper about how she's one of the heroes from the founding of the empire and the reason why the army accepts female soldiers.
