I'd bet that if you asked on MD's Discord, they'd have recommended at least 3 people (including me) for such a thing, instead of using Google Urgh Translate.

What is with ppl sniping active series? There’s like a shit-ton of other popular mangas that could use a long-awaited update...the list goes on for about 10 meters...
@FelixA02 no. The source is mandarin. So if you’re translating from FRA to ENG, that means it was TL’d from chinese to french to english. That means that due to the double TL some words might be lost in the process. It is always preferable to TL directly from the source so that errors can be minimalized and things don’t get literally lost in translation
East Asian languages are typically prone to loss in translations, especially when things like idioms are involved (the chinese and japanese use A LOT of idioms, and those can’t be machine-translated without the meaning getting lost)

Do we really need this conversation every time? Bottom line: just like no scanlator has any obligation to work on something just because you or I want them to, every single scanlator can work on whatever they want to. They owe us and each other absolutely nothing.
If this were to prompt any drama between the new guy and the other group, and the other group decided to drop the series I would be disappointed because they're been doing good work on it all this time so far. But that's just my own selfishness, it doesn't change anything.

WTF, You know people (myself included) worked hard on this series and it’s really shitty of you to do. It’s not like we release inconsistently. If you really want to help, then I suggest you join apply to join group and help rather than to bootleg upload a chapter. Also maybe watch some tutorials on how to properly clean and typeset if you have so much free time.

I feel really bad towards all the people who work hard on this series! How could you have done that?! What if they drop it because of someone like you who knows nothing about scanlation?

Please learn how to scanlate before doing these and sabotaging an active group. There is a kind of unwritten ethical code among the scans groups saying that if a group is actively working on a project, other groups dont take it up unless it is of a very bad quality.
If you made a perfect chapter and excelent work worth noticing, i wouldn't have said a word. Google translate is the worst thing you could've done, the typesetting cannot be even called typesetting and not even going to talk about cleaning/redrawing.
I feel terrible for the ghostly doctor team that is working hard for us, the readers and I hope they can forgive you for this and continue to work hard on it - especially stephie who does both CL and TS. THANK YOU <3

As the leader of the Franch scanlation team, I would like to add some things :
-read manhua make a good job on this serie, and is not so slow as you seems to believe, why not pick a dropped serie ?
-learn a little typesetting and all before doing somrthing like that
- as we paid for the raws, the least you could do is to ask before use our scans (even if my answer would be a no, as there is already another team who worls on it)
