What I don't like is when they start using flashbacks. Like they first show the conclusion and then go backwards to explain it, instead of showing glimpses of those flashback on earlier chapters to build up to this point.

Because now in hindisght it's totally cute how he was always in love with her but didn't seem to realize, but these panels held vital information that was witheld from us until this point.

The real reason why the Uruka ending would be shit is that it means that the anime would have already spoiled it about two months in advance...

I might not like Uruka much but I'd at least want to respect the author's decision for choosing her, but when you do it like this it just feels disappointing after having followed the series all this time...

Uruka has taken my spot for the best for Nariyuki. Rizu and Fumino never seemed as completely devoted to him.

She's cheerful and happy. I'm happy he's leaning towards her. He needs happiness.

, instead of properly showing the flashback before and the audience already realizing Nariyuki's feelings, we learn it after it's obvious that she is going to win and the anime spoiled it.

Still not nearly as shit as 5toubun, at least Nariyuki always showed affection towards Uruka, while Fuutarou's love for Yotsuba is fucking bullshit and was done in the most awful fashion possible.

You know the author fucked up good in the romance part when most comments are "Why did Y win?!" instead of "Why did X lose?!".
Also, the story is ending right in the spot that would be the peak on most romcoms, where all female cast realize they have feelings for MC.

This is just sad, Tsutsui just can't pace the story right and now the ending is will be a shitfest for the wrong reasons.
