This basically sums up my feelings on this manga now. Not only did Koga get his badass moment shoved to the side in favor of Ohma's return. The writers willingly ruined the perfect ending of the original manga.

All I can tell you dude is sorry but this shit happens a lot for some reason. I have no idea why but there are a lot of manga like mha(with Deku's O4A reveal), bleach(Ichigo being a hybrid of everything), and Naruto(a literal reincarnated god) that start out great and then start making dumb-ass decisions. Now we have kengan omega basically throwing every meaningful consequence out the window. That's shounen for you i guess

The vast majority of manga are made one week at a time, or only a few weeks in advance. There have definitely been a few retcons in Kengan, in Asura Ohma remembered his backstory being different like four times. Either they've suddenly come up with this, in which case they were stupid, or they've been planning this for a while, in which case they suffer from premeditated stupidity. But given that Ohma's been dead for over a year real time with zero indication he would ever come back and a new character being introduced who's a dead ringer for him in the meantime this just screams "attempt to randomly increase manga's popularity".

That is a euphemism, literally everything else in the Asura manga along with everything in Omega so far prior to chapter 50 points to him being dead.

If there's anything manga has taught me it's that it's never too late for a series to completely shit the bed. But an explanation is irrelevant, since the problem with this reveal isn't that it's an asspull it's that it undercuts Asura's ending.

There is no defending this latest utter bullshit. They've just sort of figured out that they don't need to bother with careful plotting, they can just write complete tripe and the audience will still eat it up.

Pretty hype chapter, seems like this is the real Ohma. Karla must be one happy woman. Also glad to see the same few people in the comments section are still apparently having a mental breakdown over this. Ohma's "death" was vague as fuck, most people have been expecting him to show up in some fashion since Omega started. Though if it honestly makes some people upset to the extent that they are, then just drop the series like a functional human being instead acting like a three year old throwing an embarrassing temper tantrum.

@whoamiagain I'd suggest to reread the last chapters of Asura then. Everything in there was purposely not certain (long slumber and all that). There were quite a few comments before the final chapter that were already theorizing Ohma's survival.

I personnaly was suprised when Ohma wasn't the mc of Omega. That's when I finally tought he was really dead tbh. So, no, I really really don't think it was some sort of improvisation...

I guess I'm not really allowed to complain since the ending of asura was vague
So to assume this wasn't still Ohma's manga anymore just cuz of a title change was kinda stupid on my part i guess but still
I really like Koga and with Ohma's cover blown and Koga's injures I can't help but feel like Koga just lost his spot in the competition to Ohma or Raian. I get Ohma is the real protagonist and most people would take him over Koga(I mean just look at the gap in fans) but seriously. The kid was doing so well.
