Also not a fan of Nezuko marrying Zenitsu after all because that Sanemi moment was too cute

I feel like I'm one of the people who's content with the ending. We do see the world after the demons are eradicated and everyone's "descendants" lives on happily. I don't really see that bad in that. Plus, ships have technically already sailed since we're seeing the great grandchildren(?).

I like the reincarnation ending, even though I've forgotten like half the people. ... Kimetsu no Yaiba is a nice work, but, it probably peaked at the Fire Pillar's death. I get the impression that the author was going to try and centralize every arc around a pillar after that, but for whatever reason, decided to abandon that tack after the turban dude. It became a little... muddy, sloppy, after that. People started getting red swords and this and that, and it felt like she was just trying to reach the finish line in one piece. Well, it's tough, I'm sure, to maintain a certain level of creativity week after week.

Still, I have to say, it's a great piece of work for that first half or so. I'd definitely recommend this one for the shounen genre fan.

@Damoc They were Kakushi of the same names, in the most recent arc Goto was the one that helped Kanao and drove a car into Muzan. Takeuchi was the one who suggested that Yushiro eat him so that he could regain his strength and keep helping in the delay-fight against Muzan.

This was a really wholesome ending. You see many of the characters live a happy next life kanrounji and snake guy are an adorable couple, the demon slayers' boss became the oldest person in Japan, Yushiro still loves Tamayo (this one hurts, because he is the only one left.) Inosuke is still a cutie, the three girls that help them out when they were recovering for their wounds are still together and happy. Shinobu and her "sister" are together. Gin is with his previously dead pals...

All in all a satisfying ending. I liked it
Usually endings are either crap or just barely decent. This one brings you some sort of closure, like the story really ended and you can move on.

IMO, this ending is the most satisfying possibility ever. If you don't like the ending, you really don't understand what good ending is.

Based on what I get from this chapter, here's the conclusion of every surviving members to clear any confusion if anyone cannot digest it :

[ul][li]Tanjirou & Kanao was married and having their descendant. You can see the siblings are Tanjiro's reddish hair and Kanao's purple eyes (Tajirou x Kanao hentai is coming, see you in ExHentai). His sword is well preserved as family's keepsake, if the author want to go Boruto route, it might have a slight chance. See my explanation later below.[/li]
[li]Zen'itsu and Nezuko are married obviously, and Zen'itsu looks like he fabricate the story to praise himself. And it looks like the Kamado sibling's blood will unite again. NOPE ! not an incest if the family tree is too far. Also, Zen'itsu you bastard !! You are the enemy of all Nezuko's fans here.[/li]
[li]Inosuke's descendant looks like having Aoi's eyes, Inosuke probably marry Aoi. And it was hinted in chapter 204 that Inosuke had an interest with Aoi.[/li]
[li]It's not clear wether Giyu was married and had descendant, or just get reincarnated instead as one of those kids (Giyu, Sabito, Makomo reincarnation). If it os the later, it is so sad that Giyu is a forever alone.[/li]
[li]It seems that Yushiro is the only surviving demon. So the theory that Muzan's virus will be gone when Muzan is dead is proven false. Thus, it indicates that Nezuko was no longer a demon and fully healed as human.[/li]
[li]The last Demon Slayer house leader, Kiriya Ubuyashiki becomes centenarian after free from Muzan's curse. So, he is one of original Demon Slayer team that still alive beside Yushiro.[/li]
[li]With Yushiro is still surviving as demon, there could be possibility that another demon is still alive but the quality is shit except if they successfully spread the virus and mutate to be stronger if found better host.[/li]
[li]Since Muzan is dead, it seems no one inherit the breath technique because it is no longer needed. But, if Kamado family still inherit Hinokami Kagura dance to his descendant or Zen'itsu is smart enough to write down in one book how to use breath technique, or Rengoku family still preserve the old book about Fire Breathing, all is enough to revive the Breathing Technique. The saga might be continue like Boruto and the milking begin.[/li][/ul]

It's a bummer for Muzan. Searching the "Blue Spider Lily" for millenium but it is an USSR (Ultra Super Super Rare) flower that only blooms every year at noon only, while he and his demons can't go out at noon. No wonder he can't find it even forever without sunblock.

The ending is not bad for a good ending but I still feel bummed how there no consequences from what happened.

I mean both Tanjiro and Nezuko got turned into demons and they just got fixed like it was nothing!?

I was hoping their descendants will have small inherited demon traits or abilities as a result.

And what about the shortened life-span of the mark users? Whatever happened to that!?

This whole thing just felt unsatisfying for me.
