Whoops, sorry for the few of you who read this as soon as I posted it, I forgot to include a note about the term 'Riichi' on the end page. If you read the version before I updated and are for some reason reading this, Riichi is usually a term used in Mahjong, but in this case it means being close to winning big on the pachinko machine.

Is it true that Pacheco's prizes are in products and then the establishment buys the products from the winners? It would be a way to circumvent the ban on slots. I don't think it's impossible. Prostitution is illegal in Japan but people evade condemnation with the excuse that love at first sight occurred between the client and the prostitute.

@Kaduufrrj I'm not knowledgeable about this at all, but I heard somewhere that the pachinko parlours that do allow for cashing in the balls have the exchange site in a different building near the parlour or something. There are also some that allow you to exchange the balls in for prizes but not money, I think.

don't ever get in this kind of gambling machine ever, it's specifically made so you get addicted with multiple audio and visual stimulus that are seen as congrats and the losses are studied so they don't appear as losses, like, the losses are fruits and stuff with multiple colors so don't ever get on it

I remember I went to play one of the Madoka pachinkos in an actual arcade (yes, an arcade, for some reason they had rows of gambling machines right next to purikuras and toy gachapons)
I LITERALLY SAVED MAMI FROM BEING MAMIRU'D BY HITTING THE JACKPOT, IT WAS SUCH A MAGICAL MOMENT
Sadly it turned out it was one of the 'fake' pachinkos that give you coin tokens for use in the carnival game machines instead of real pachinko balls

Is... that how it looks like? I always thought pachinko was just a japanese name for slot machines.
