Yep, the clone can't even use magic.
It could probably have insane str and agi, the same as original but it wasn't shown yet. Unless we count that "masked man escapes" frame from like 3 chapters ago.

while it may be right its only ever used to defend bastardizations.
some translations leave naruto's weird speech pattern in
some translations leave out superfluous fluff
bastardizations call rice balls doughnuts and have diatribes about feminism and patriarchy inserted where they never were.

people have preferences for translations, I prefer -san -chan and the like or when it comes out ojisan or obasan untranslated and so on for most titles as they don't translate well to english without the complete removal in the case of sensai

I also prefer harsher translations of terms like kuso (if I remember right) which would be anywhere from darnit, to screaming obscenities, official translations always have it mean the lightest thing possible, but when your friend is believed to be dead due to your actions/inability, you aren't saying crud and full intensity

no one likes lowest common denominator translations, and only non fans like bastardizations.

I would not go angry at a 1 page chapter. Specially on the translator team. i mean, I would ask myself why is the author doing a 1 page, not getting angry about it

Again, you only consider it a bastardization because you read the fan translation first and automatically deem it superior.

I’ll admit that Viz tends to ease up on honorifics and the like, usually because they are aiming at a wider audience beyond those who go on this site. But to immediately deem any translation which doesn’t fit your specific desires, which are inherently based on the first one you see, is crazy.

Plus, how many official translations put “diatribes about feminism and patriarchy” in their series? Maybe two or three, compared to the thousands of official translations which don’t.
