Elf appeal is definitely the agelessness. That reassurance that they'll look the same, be just as healthy/energetic, and (due to the vast difference in sense of time) they'll be just as devoted even if you live to be 115 as they are the day you marry, provided you don't seriously fuck up. And, honestly, if you could guarantee your wife/husband would be both willing and able to take care of you in your old age, without needing to worry about their health or mobility... that's hella reassuring, and could legitimately be a retirement plan in itself. There's also the possible 'legal loli' angle, for those into that.

Read a LN where there's an elf in the party that looks in her 20's, but is over 200 years old. The human men in the party complain that she treats them like children even though they're adults in their 20s/30s. Like she's always checking up on them and putting candy in their pockets because they so young.

Don't take this the wrong way Spinning_Donuts, but I immediately recognized that the art was done by the same guy behind "FPS de Shoshinsha Bokotte Real Fight ni Hattenshita Kekka w" and was happily awaiting commentary by Kyuukei. I still like you guys, but I was disappointed in not seeing balls-to-the-walls-tier insanity

Unfortunately, the elf and her party are not the main focus of the LN. The elf is a side character in Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival. I think it's in book 3 or 4 when the main character joins the adventurer party.

The LN itself is a twist on the isekai Otome story where the heroine (main character) is a native of the world. When she finds out she's in a game, she wants no part of it. She's, umm, extremely pragmatic about solving problems (if it's dead, it's not a problem).

Darn it. I follow that one already. I was hoping you might have stumbled across another Frieren, maybe a little more light hearted.

Heroine Survival is great though. Thanks for answering.
