Nishiory fucked up this time.
This author is capable to build a world of side character around the main cast and give them life. The supporting characters are honestly belivable and their personality are interesting, they carry on the plot and are absolutely funny and enjoyable, all the side characters here too are awesom period.
The main cast is quite problematic however.
The mc and his buddy were quite flat, I loved the story of their first meeting but they're too much forced in their role (not a big deal anyway).
Something I didn't like at all was the attempt of give to ma-kun some deepness showing his childhood and involving his father, this only results in some kind of unanswered branch of the plot sadly.
The president was very bad, she was intended to be simply too perfect so the author culdn't make her talk a lot or give her some space, this ended in make her a bad side character always offscreen so the reader can't empatyze with her or ship the main relationship.
Kaho because of the weakness of the president character took a lot of space (like in othter manga with the same problem) and even if she was a very nice character she ended up being in a love relationship with the mc denied by the author (in the best way luckily) under the eyes of the reader.
Blue was a nice side character to bring hilarious jokes, he rapresents the essence of the sense of humor of Nishiori and in fact i laughed in most of the gags where he was involved, but when the author noticed that he couldn't build a love traingle with him (and probably he wouldn't be able to handled it anyway tbh) he was sadly left behind.
With the focus on the main cast for most of the time the reading was quite painful and boring, anyway the ending was fairly good and I loved it.
This manga is a love comedy where love is not involved, this is the real problem. The best love story at the end, as ironic as it was, was between Chilka and Blue.
