The ending was a bit abrupt and too fuzzy for me, but it was a fun and goofy ride! Thanks to the uploaders and scanlators!

I agree, the ending was a bit too abrupt, feels like it could've been better if there was even 1 more chapter... but it wasn't a bad one at least. Overall, the story was an entertaining one like this author's other works.

Ending was okay, not trainwreck-tier but come on now, don't leave it so open-ended like that.

But, I'm 99.9% that Funabahi and the President ended up together. The author's other work 'Kyou Kara Ore Wa' had a similiarly open ending, and it implied romance between the MC and his love interest in the same, ambigious way.

I'm going to be honest the ending was pretty bad, imo It felt axed and incomplete (maybe intended). Up until the end though it was a great manga with tons of comedy. Just beware if you are seeking fulfilled romance look elsewhere.

I remember starting this a good while back, but I think at the time it had been dropped by a group and it looked like nobody was going to pick it up any time soon so it got chucked in a bookmark folder to collect dust. Never did get around to the bookmark but I guess I found my way here and should take a look again.

Edit: Finished. The ending was pretty weak, but I can't call it all that ambiguous. The implication was there and all. Like, the author is saying "You and me know what's up, I don't need to actually show it." Which is fuckin' weird to do in a visual medium.

Nishiory fucked up this time.

This author is capable to build a world of side character around the main cast and give them life. The supporting characters are honestly belivable and their personality are interesting, they carry on the plot and are absolutely funny and enjoyable, all the side characters here too are awesom period.

The main cast is quite problematic however.

The mc and his buddy were quite flat, I loved the story of their first meeting but they're too much forced in their role (not a big deal anyway).
Something I didn't like at all was the attempt of give to ma-kun some deepness showing his childhood and involving his father, this only results in some kind of unanswered branch of the plot sadly.

The president was very bad, she was intended to be simply too perfect so the author culdn't make her talk a lot or give her some space, this ended in make her a bad side character always offscreen so the reader can't empatyze with her or ship the main relationship.

Kaho because of the weakness of the president character took a lot of space (like in othter manga with the same problem) and even if she was a very nice character she ended up being in a love relationship with the mc denied by the author (in the best way luckily) under the eyes of the reader.

Blue was a nice side character to bring hilarious jokes, he rapresents the essence of the sense of humor of Nishiori and in fact i laughed in most of the gags where he was involved, but when the author noticed that he couldn't build a love traingle with him (and probably he wouldn't be able to handled it anyway tbh) he was sadly left behind.

With the focus on the main cast for most of the time the reading was quite painful and boring, anyway the ending was fairly good and I loved it.

This manga is a love comedy where love is not involved, this is the real problem. The best love story at the end, as ironic as it was, was between Chilka and Blue.

What an underrated manga. I was not expecting much when I first started reading this but the characters grew on me. Yeah, the premise is Angel Densetsu all over again, but in my opinion this manga addresses his topics better.
I mean, the fact that this MC really is a heartless evil demon but wants to be good weighs more to me than an MC that has a heart of an angel just because.

While the ugly MF of Angel Densetsu beats delinquents here and there with the power of absurd reflexes, this king has spent middle school training his body in sport clubs and street fights and now wants to purify his spirit in high school tea club. Ok, the past about his father was a bit lame and I would have preferred the author to keep only the grandfather's flashbacks but a fair reason nonetheless to want to be better.

The love interest was on point. In the very beginning Ma-Kun was captivated with the kind-hearted, traditionalist wife material that is the president, and that prompted the MC to be a better person, also that is why a relationship with Kaho, the total opposite of that, would be forced. Not every character in a work of fiction has to be three dimensional to be good.

The comedy in this manga is gold and unlike Angel Densetsu, it's not about the same misunderstanding jokes like "hurr you look ugly so you must be bad. Oh, wait, you actually good". I laughed with every interaction with Blue and although it's true that he was left behind in the end, the point with him was made, he realizes that he cannot compete with our boy and he would benefit more from being his friend.

And what'd you guys mean with a bad ending? The ending gives closure with the MC's psyche and it was a pretty close ending if you ask me, it's very obvious that the main couple ends together, what else do you want? this manga is not about dorky couples, it's about the ways of a gentleman.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Angel Densetsu as much as the next guy but this manga right here turned me into a fan of the Japanese Delinquents trope.
Great manga, if you like mangas about delinquents this is a must-read, if not, the more reasons to read it. This was my first contact with Nishimori Hiroyuki and you bet it's not gonna be the last.

An awesome, endearing, and funny story. The art style of the characters, may put off new readers, but the story is gold. As most good stories go, would have wished for a more concrete ending.
His whole journey was started upon the basis of his father's actions, wished we could have a showdown or something to show him he has overcome him
But 100% recommend to anyone.

Was pretty good, but not as much as kkow. I just wish it was more about tea, I guess.

An excellent read, with comedy that made me actually laugh out loud which is rare even for comedy manga. People compare this to angel dent Etsy and in some ways they are very similar however I feel they both deal with their premise in different ways, and I feel they both match each other in terms of quality. 9.5/10 if they had resolved some left over romantic feelings and shown ma kun’s relationship some more at the end I would’ve enjoyed it enough to give a 10/10

Better than angel densetsu which I haven't been able to complete, I guess it might be because the comedy in this appeals to me a lot more
