Thank you so much to the person down below who said that your past doesn't justify asshole behaviour. It really doesn't.

I find it really awkward the way the story is pushing me towards trusting the duke and not trusting the prince, just because all it's actually, concretely shown me so far is the duke is rude while the prince is actually caring, but the duke has the damsel-in-distress trope on his side so I'm supposed to like him. 😕 I just wish it was a little bit less obvious who the favoured character is.
