The only thing I can think of why Akane decide to have another was maybe her wanting to be greedy with 2 sons or maybe something was wrong with the original Sou?

My personal theory is that Akane really wanted to be a mom or have a large family. She had Sumire at about as young of an age as possible, and the gap between Sou and Sakura isn't large enough for Sou to have a complete personality by the time Sakura came along. I think she simply wanted to have three kids and Sou just so happened to be a guy.

I think that's part of the whole crux of this story that Sou believes the world is surprisingly normal because he happened to be lucky to be surrounded by the women that have most self-control lol. If we remember the news, a lot of women would straight up rape men.

And people hate on Suzuki but, actually, he's a decent guy by the standards of their world. Of course, he's wary of women (for good reason) but he actually has an interest in them and doesn't just see them as beasts like he said other men do.

Yes Suzuki is actually a rather decent guy. Surprisingly so, considering how it all started. But then again he actually goes out and interact with girls while most other boys just stay at home.

As for the rape part... I had a thought. We saw that all the girls in this class are more or less glass cannons when confronted with an actually confident guy.
The whole deal is probably also a cultural thing. Which does not justify it or anything mind you. I'm just saying, probably if a girl gets aggressive, the boy kinda just takes it and does not react in this world.

If you can recall from the earlier chapters. Incest with mom and sisters is normalized in the world. We learned that from the sperm bank from the types of porn available. In addition, there is a bottleneck of sperm, so there may be a more than likely chance that the women around Sou's school and neighborhood are half-siblings.

This world building is honestly amazing.

Sakura is literally 2-4 years younger than Sou. Don't overthink things. She probably just wanted another son, since she got Sou on 2nd try and thought, with government subsides she could try to have another.

It's possible that she wanted to try for another boy

There is ~1:60000 chance to have 3 boys in a row and 1:1500 chance to have 2 boys in a row. The chance is so not low at all especially for 2 boys in row. Women in this world suck at math or Suzuki explanation does not hold. Akane min maxed pretty well with one more child after Sou I suspect this must be common knowledge for women with boys.

You operate under pretense of naturally conceive pregnancies, that nay impossible in this world. Chapter 18 tell us that she got sperm donation aka artificial insemination(impregnation), which allowed to chose gender of a child. And since the same chapter reveal existence of "Parenting Supporting School" coupled with global problems there is, probably, requirements and limitations for having a man in family.
Like having high academic abilities or passing special tests. And limiting males per family.

Wow I never thought about the fact that if a woman has son, she just stops having more kids. The lore in this story is interesting when the author wants to do more than a wish fulfillment for guys. Still feel bad for those girls that lose out on gaining attention from their moms.
