If you follow the R18+ route & want to treat it as canon info, the Hinata in that version stated she doesn't want kids but without further elaboration. It basically supports that her home environment made her that way. I assumed it was because there are people out in the world that don't want kids.
Quite the dark chapter & I would hope that Sou be that positive influence in her life to break free from that mindset. Hinata is still best girl in my eyes. Thanks for the translations.

Edit: After thinking about it some more, it comes off more her mother being possessive to Hinata’s Dad & just left her. Hinata herself is the result of their relationship & now has a mother that treats her badly. Such an unfortunate situation for Hinata.

However, given the antics of Sou's family, I wanted more like that. I suppose it is a reminder that outside of Sou's surroundings, it is not a rosy world.

Yeah it’s sorta like a child of a r**e victim. They worried that their genes might contain the same tendency of the person who committed that crime and worried that they might give it to their children. In no way it’s the children fault, but the sins of the parent is carried heavily on them.
