In that situation (Miku really meant business) there would only be two possible ways to stop that from happening without Sou getting directly involved or becoming totally disillusioned. First, obviously, would be Kanaria waking up and using what she gained through her dream experience to intervene. The other would be the school gong ending that mess. I think I mentioned that in some earlier chapter.

To be fair I don't think that's his takeaway, he might think they're playing or doing another skit (hence the "I don't really understand" line). I don't know if you've ever seen a fight before but you'd be hard pressed to see one where someone jumps in the middle, blocks two punches at once, and everyone stands there while she delivers a shounen anime intro. It'd be one thing if someone had like a busted lip or bloody nose but they don't.
