Initially, I wanted the character interactions to be a little bit more realistic. But I thinking I'm starting to embrace the over-the-top-ness...

At first, the way in which "moral reversal" was implemented seemed totally unrealistic compared to the genre's progenitor Teisou Gyakuten Sekai (not that TGS is particularly realistic, since women are way too casual about getting pregnant), but then I realized it makes perfect sense if in the author's mind, a large number of men are horny and predatory and because of that all women are ice queens as a defense mechanism or timid/afraid due to rapey trauma, and thus this world "reverses" that.

To put it another way, if this author were to write an un-reversed manga in the shoujo genre, maybe it'd be about a girl who is friendly toward guys, and they fall in love with her because she's kind and friendly and way less prudish than all the other women they've met so far, and they have a strong urge to protect her from other predatory men, and she establishes a reverse harem.
