This series comes across like a therapy session for an overworked and underpaid salaryman. The author maxxed out the MC's "humbleness" stat to a point where it's highkey annoying after just a few chapters, while the instant harem only exists to shower the MC with "overdue" praise, recognition, and... codependence.

I think it gets better as you go along. I'd say it's a bit above average, there very few instances of plot armour and generally most skills are earned. The main cast is pretty likeable, but major downside is the antagonists. Antagonist seems too one dimensional. It'd be fine if the antagonist is hateable which is the purpose of an antagonist, but they were made a bit too cliché and annoying.
Was pretty interested to read after watching the anime (two episodes so far), but then reading there's "harem" tag in the manga. It's so exhausting getting interested in japanese manga/anime fantasy or isekai genre only to be ruined with the usual either harem, misogyny or pedo slop. Dropping this. 💔

was enjoying the anime, but that ugly bastard had me worried, so i came to check on the manga... and turns out i was right. Fucking rape, again, garbage uncreative author.

I was a little disappointed by the most recent bit in the manga.
In this part, Yuke ends up trying to deal with the leader of another party that he's working with. The guy gets possessed due to his jealousy, so afterward Yuke tries to talk to him, only for the guy to blow up at him. Seems he got the impression that Yuke is some noble prick who grew up with everything handed to him, blessed with fame and fortune and never knowing strife, whereas he was an orphan who had nothing and had to struggle every day to gain anything. Even implies that Simon must have hated him because he too had nothing and disliked seeing Yuke living the good life. This despite Simon being a noble, while Yuke was a commoner whose family and entire village was killed by monsters; Simon's rage was because he couldn't stand to see a commoner and an orphan managing to succeed. The situation gets resolved, but Yuke only confronts him about how little he appreciates how much he himself has. I wanted to see him tell the jerk just how similar their situations really are, that the guy he'd empathized with and started to resemble was everything he accused Yuke of being.
@ the latest chapter - really, a "war" between two, about translating and holding off.
...yet in the responses of both - both aren't using proper english..and one of them has the nerve to say, "it's the readers that get hurt.
Now, granted, KS and Darling bs aside - the latest was better than some..horrible, illegible ones ..but still there's a few mistakes there (not pointing them out) and, some pretty basic mistakes in THE ARGUMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE!
If you're gonna argue, ANY point - make sure you have some ground to stand on. ESPECIALLY when it's about translations..make sure it's a *#%^ good one, with NO mistakes, let alone in an argument, about saying the other guys are being pricks about it.
At this point the "holding off" for others, when the translations are poor, the series is losing credit (mostly due to poor translations or this sort of petty argument ...that most..don't care about).
Translate it properly, to leave NOTHING to question - (and this goes for ANY series) then, and only then will you MAYBE have a leg to stand on.
But as it stands, another one complaining, that they CHOSE to spend out of pocket, and still did a bad (not horrible..seen worse..) translation - and wants to "rally the troops".
These sort of arguments amount to, "Yano, when i cornered you, and took all your money while you just wanted something to make you happy. And spit on you, kicked you, and stopped you from enjoying it and all the hard work put into it. WELL GUESS WHAT I NEED YOUR HELP!"
Mangadex may have rules, and for a decent reason - however - at this point, and years of reading manga on sites like this.

The stories are getting worse, the people "translating" are leaving out words that can, at times, change the meaning - "proofreading" and yet..when it's referring to a chick with GIANT BOOBS - it's a dude...apparently.
It's getting annoying. A good story, should be shared, with everyone - period. Not be pissed on like it's a tree and barked at everyone that it's "your territory" when - all you've done.. is piss on it, and did nothing to make it better. Enough with the chihuahua crap. Do a good job, and maybe, JUST maybe, there'd be support.
But i haven't seen any worth support, let alone paying a penny for in 6 years +
Your war is your problem, translate it or dont - but while you two are yapping, and again - don't have basic english down and have some clear simple mistakes...neither of you deserve support, let alone a penny for a "translation".
This is a little better then most of the horrible illegible ones - but still - it's NOT properly translated, nor finished. After all, if it's done right..
There will be NO mistakes in the english (if it's a poor story that's another story), and no question to what the heck is going on, in the story, let alone your little ad that "it's for the reader". NOT ONE group in more then 6 years, has done it "for the reader". It's for the money, and on that note - not for love of the source material (original manga), it's for a profit, and to slap the face of those who love it.
Grow up, and do it right, or don't do it at all, period. Can't keep up with it, and it's a good story, move out of the way so others can have fun, don't hog it.
That simple - And keep your, "i'm a hobo, and need 20 dollars, Thanks for the 20, but spare some change...o cool 40, spare some more?" while you add, NOTHING.
Shame this won't reach them, and neither of them will learn proper english and fix the bad translations in the first place, and - for the record - this isn't the only one KS hasn't done right. I'll leave it at that.
Story itself is decent, generic, and the anime (halfway through the dub) is..lacking for the protag as a voice actor. Not great, not bad, a "if there's nothing else on" story, after all it's predictable. There's not even nipples or naughty stuff in the manga to make it decent or entertaining. Cut and dry, "convenient steam cloud" annoying censorship, and missing/poor english - but in a rare case - not enough to ruin the story..however - when they complain at the start like they're doing someone a favor.. then they need to have it perfect. And, it's not.

I don't know why people like this manga a lot. As others have said, Yoke is another generic MC. All the characters are one dimensional. The world building done here is also really fucking terrible. Like why is there streaming? Where did all this high tech really come from, and what does this entire "streaming fights" element really even add to the overall story? It just seems like a useless plot device the manga tried to add to try to differentiate themselves from all the other generic "I got kicked out/left my previous party who underestimated me" mangas. It really adds nothing other than the fact that MC's party gets notoriety through it ... but that's not very specific to this manga ... it's not like they wouldn't have gained notoriety if streaming didn't exist, it's just a system utilized in this manga for its premise. Every other manga that doesn't utilize some dumb "streaming" plot device all seems to do fine in writing in how the MC gains notoriety.
