On the one hand, yes, the "I might not be able to control myself" thing is deeply institutionalized sexism in Japanese culture. As for rape being a hentai genre, that's completely different, I'd say, because rape fantasies are extremely common among people of all cultures, and are prominently featured in porn and erotic literature everywhere. And there isn't really anything wrong with that as long as it stays fantasy (or consensual roleplay). Like, you get off to what you get off to, it's all good, as long as nobody gets hurt in the process.
