So the escape scroll hasn't been forgotten. But for some reason that's never been explained before, it's inconveniently unusable at the exactly the right moment and situation it's supposed to be used. Just throw it away then, fat lot of good this thing does for them. I have a hard time taking this arc seriously when this could have been avoided had they been ready to escape, like they should've since they knew full well this was a very dangerous dungeon; the situations feels so contrived and the drama feels so forced. Easily the worst chapter yet in this story.
Why couldn't it just have been Trash Pike to encounter this, it would've been more satisfying to see them get their comeuppance this way. I guess this arc is where this stops being satisfying to read, even if it's not particularly good. But I suppose I'll continue reading just because of morbid curiosity...
