I find the whole dark magic taking your max life thing kinda contrived though since he cast like what 2 or 3 spells and somehow that reduced him to nearly dead status? Also I assume an elf giving you some life span was like a drop in the bucket to her actual life span lol.

QI being circulated between man and woman in an optimal cycle of yin and yang is more of a cultivation thing, which is pretty much just Chinese. If this were a manhua, you'd have a point, but it's a manga, so that aspect probably is not so much a thing here. As for FSN, Nasu didn't want to write them but was forced to due to exec meddling; specifically, "sex sells, so put it in", not anything like you're referencing. That's why it never really showed up again in the Nasuverse after that, though doujins keep returning to the concept for obvious reasons.

To be fair, he was casting it against multiple familiars of a god several times, and holding the spell, rather than just having it be an instantaneous cast; that's far more impactful than just casting a forbidden spell quickly to get an instant effect and then move on. Plus it was the familiars of the god he'd just sworn to, plus the whole swearing to a god aspect, so there's probably more to it there, as well.

Speaking of kisses, i like the miracle kiss that occured in 'tales of wedding ring'. They explained it from beginning and consistent in doing the constitution they uphold. It's very thought out well actually. But beware in other comment section of manga reading page, this series filled with hate because the fans (some fans perhaps) want to make this series stick to the rule of harem and the kissing scene is like disney princess theme (for kids). I really disagree with that kind of comment for this 'tales of wedding ring' manga.

I mean, this manga ('a rank party wo ridatsu... ') failed to lay the impact of the kisses because of lack of necessary plot. It's just so abrupt, so absurd. There should be a faint hint that could validate this action in past chapter. Even their personalities sometimes inconsistent that I find it hard to differentiate who said the bubble dialog when their face wasn't shown in the pannel.

There should be a faint hint that could validate this action in past chapter. I'd argue you need to stop and go back and re-read the entire series if this is your take, mate. It's shown from the very start that they were interested in him and were falling for him over and over with him doing suaveshit to flatter and impress them without thinking about doing it for that purpose. I'm autistic, and the way they look at him and talk about and to him is so obvious that I can see it like a spotlight in my face. >_>;

there is no clue about 'body magic' previously. they are not succubus obviously. there is no built-up plot to a kiss. it's just happen. and can be delayed actually. The kiss just have to happen even without necessary motive. you can just fabricated the reason later
