Wow, that was strange. In the book, this scene is quite different.
Basically, after the fall, they just use an item that totally hide their presence and make them invisible. So the orc only attack the ex-member group. The woman was taken and raped, the guys were eaten.
Even Jaime?

I cannot wait to see the look on his face after this backfires. He is always so incredulous at how badly things blow up in his face. I am ready!

They still on this huh? This arc has worn its welcome out. So has Simon's character (whole party really) so I hope this all wraps up soon.

Just 2 more chapters until Simon and his lackies get what they deserve

Seriously? There's 2 more chapters of this? It's already been 5 chapters since Simon and his party showed up at the end to start this phase of the mess. It's taking the author 7 chapters to get through this slog.

Yes, Simon's an irredeemable asshole and the rest of the party except for mage girl are pretty much just as complicit. We get it. But we knew that like 60 chapters ago. At this point dragging out this event is just beating a dead horse. We should've moved on from them volumes ago.

I can't wait for this arc to be over. Every chapter for the last 4 I've gone in figuring that it has to be the end of this and the story can pick up again. And yet it's like with each passing chapter time moves slower and slower as the author drags this out to the extreme.

Jamie is the mage girl, right? I honestly can't remember the shit party's names except for Simon.

From what I remember of other people talking about how the story progresses:

Without spoiling everything I remember being told about how the story progresses: No, she doesn't get taken by the orcs. The fact that she ignored Simon and tried to help Yoke and Clover in the end here and has had definite second thoughts about being involved in everything that happened since Simon and the others went on this revenge bender ends up having Yoke save her from a more grisly fate that the rest of the party meets.

IIRC she still has to face punishment for her role in what happened, both relating specifically to Yoke and the other stuff that had them align with that shifty noble guy, but she accepts that and she parts with Yoke and Clover on good terms, and I think even with the promise that she could join them when she gets out of prison (I have no idea if the story ever got far enough in the LN/WN to address that and I don't think we're far enough away from catching up to the manga raws for it to have happened here.

Fair warning that this is all like 2nd/3rd hand info and I could easily be wrong about some or all of it.

To stand valorous in desperation, even after fallen prey to the scheming and backstabbing of the former "heroes".

Truly, this is The Darkest Dungeon moment.

Trust me you’re not the only one who’s sick of Simon and his equally idiotic cronies, hence why chapter 65 will be the last we see of them as karma hits them with full force 😏 which I’m excited for. Then that just leaves that Nobel who sponsored them, 😒 moron just can’t grasp the meaning of the word “no”.

If you are in a Japanese manga and the other guy has a loli harem army you ain't the protag. Just don't make any death flags and you might survive to the end.

It feels like it's going the Gal*Cleaning route, where the author knows that it's axed so they're going to pad out the ending for chapters and throw in a rape scene for no good reason.
that only happen on original manga, this adaptation of LN who came from WN so doubt, thought new chapter already came out to prov this wrong assumption, better thing most of the adaptation will not end like that but cut off did happen in some promotional manga

I suppose I gotta hand it to Simon for being actually more resilient than Fate's Shinji ever was. I guess I shouldn't call him Fantasy Discount Shinji, he's Fantasy Shinji 2.0. But please end him already, pretty sure most are already sick and tired of his dragged out one-dimensional villainy.

Lol, he just had a bad case of main character syndrome? He should've noticed it when his plot armor wasn't working properly 😂

For the all duration of the Manga I was like "Fuck these guys just leave him"
But after the last few chapters it's "Just kill this bitch already..."
