Thank goodness I'm not the only one who finds it unsatisfactory because I see people saying they like this slow slice of life. Personally it feels more like a slice of life of someone with a disorder. I too, like to be alone but doesn't mean it's right for me to just act selfish with people, shut them down including family, and act like an asshole, unless you benefit me.
I honestly can't see how such a story would have any more plot than this. Even most of the reincarnation element has been skipped outright. The background characters have more wholesome or interesting moments than even the MC. So far my interest have shifted to the music girl because I'm curious how that would go for her.

The reason I push away everyone is because I feel that nobody likes me, but this dude is straight up raw-doggin the loner lifestyle.

I really shouldn’t look up to this wish fulfilment manga, but it’s like the abyss. It just stares back at me.

I actually quite enjoy the MC in this one, and honestly it's nice to see something that isn't "I was isekai'd so I must have thirty seven children with fifteen wives that I didn't even want to get with initially but was forced into marrying anyway." It's just a guy living his life free of pressure. Maybe it helps that I'm Aro Ace as well, but I don't really see him as being selfish. He doesn't want a wife or children, yet he still hangs around with and helps his family out even though that's all they've been hounding him over for his entire life. He isn't an outright jerk to them, he just tries to ignore spending excessive amounts of time with them since he knows what kinds of things they'd tell him anyway, that he needs a wife and kids, that his single lifestyle is pointless/meaningless, that he's going to regret it or be lonely later. They can't understand his lifestyle or him as a person, but he still remains around them regardless because they're his family and he's willing to put up with that. I know it's not something that non Aro people can understand, but being constantly told your life is meaningless just because you're contentedly spending it alone, especially from the people who are always supposed to support and accept you, is nothing short of mentally catastrophic, so for him to still be close enough to be there for them despite them constantly trying to dismantle the life he's built for their own vicarious desires for him is actually far from selfish.

I have been reading the raws. But I have forgotten about it. All I know is that if you're saying you relate to this, then you may be wrong in some sense because then why are you here? Again, the off putting parts of this is how he's like a narcissistic dude. Most loners aren't loners because of that unless you're some old grumpy elderly. Still, the story can't get any more interesting than this. I have not caught up in the raws for some time already. On the bright side, this makes a good foundation for character development which would finally be something interesting to make up for it. But from where I last read, it's hardly happened.

I liked it at first and yet I don't think I will continue. First, it feels more of a cooking manga, and second, despite supposedly being a "loner" this guy is surrounded of people who talk WAY too much.

Highly relatable MC. People are a headache and constantly bother you when you're just trying to live your life doing the things you like. You don't owe anyone anything just because you're both human.

MC knows where his nose is and isn't afraid to blatantly tell people that he just wants them to leave him alone which i find respectable. I don't like being two faced. Best to just tell people how it is.
