Lol it probably is because she is a power he knows he cant handle. She has an entire tournament dedicated to potentially marrying he after all. She is liked by the masses (to an extent at least) where if she wanted to, she likely could over through him with pure strength alone.

The king is super annoying though and always want to fucks the hero over (and most of the characters), not sure he fits the bill.

The arc introduced two things her father and that their world has some demon king, so it probably won't end before he proves himself to him, which will probably involve dealing with the demon king.
inb4 the demon king is actually a queen and has some gorgeous abs.

@TrueGoddessReincarnation: You do realize that people aren't born with their abs fully developed, right? Unless they have myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, they have to work out a lot and purposefully reduce their body fat level to actually gain a visibile "six/eight pack", and the development of the individual compartments depends on the nature of the exercises, which logically can entail unbalanced development if you're not doing it right.

So no, people can do something about how their abs are formed, as it's not entirely governed by genetics.
