If the world of Echo Valley is a 1000 piece puzzle, then this series Irie-sensei gave us is a single piece of the puzzle (not even an edge or a corner piece).
Even though it’s beautiful, it’s impossible to understand what the piece is part of, and what the whole picture looks like. I enjoyed the art, I enjoyed the characters, but at the end of the day only have the faintest clue as to what’s going on plotwise, especially in relation to the MC.
I feel like Irie-sensei has so much of Ryder’s backstory and life planned out in her mind, but I’m a bit disappointed that she failed to convey it to us readers.
