Wait but if the movements of the rose princess is restricted by the royal family (and not by her family) then her father (or it was the gandfather) already antagonized the Royal family for her attendance at school.
I hope that more stuffs about this "Rose princess" stuffs is revealed, (and hope that there is a bit of substance on this otherwise if it's just for "prophecy reasons" I'd like to watch the kingdom bleed myself)

Please dont be a bitchy heroine. Please dont be a bitchy heroine. Please dont be a bitchy heroine. Please dont be a bitchy heroine. Please dont be a bitchy heroine.

Thank you for the trans! Also wondering the same with the others, shouldn't it be stepsister or something along those lines as in-law usually means through wedding?

Ooooh...so we have two otherworlders this time. It's more rare for love interests, so I'm curious to see how this goes. It was quite cute that he threw such a straight ball that she was looking for a trap.

He is definitely the reason she came out earlier than expected, so her conquest isn't able to secure itself as soon.

Right, so NOT brother-in-law, but step-brother or foster-brother.
I think the Jap word is the same, but come on. Are you guys even reading the story you're translating?
Between this and the masturbation thing in the previous chapter, I don't know whether to keep reading. It's not that "the English is so bad you can't understand anything". It's that it's good, but they're making up what's being said, not translating...

@Tatherwood - I notice the same mistake with a lot of translators. Somehow the difference between a step-brother and a brother in law (or step-sister and sister in law for that matter) seems to be a complete mystery to many. It both amazes and annoys me in equal measure each time I read it.

You guys should read ch3 before commenting on the brother in law part.

This manga has a lot of mysteries that make it seem inconsistent, but it's slow burn so author will reveal it in time. Nothing wrong with our TL's work. But if you really must, we're open to the Tl position.

@suhan - I have read chapter 3, but he seems to be simply an adopted brother. In order for him to be the FL’s brother-in-law, he would have to be the husband of the FL’s sister. Unless the story suddenly develops in a way where the FL has a sister she never knew of and her adopted brother turns out to be the husband of that sister, he is not her ‘brother-in-law’.

Doesn’t detract from the otherwise excellent translation, mind you. It just breaks my immersion every time I read a story where they exchange a step-sibling or adopted sibling for an in-law.

@Xerber85 actually
Brother-in-law can mean husband of her sister OR brother of her husband. And trust me it is only stated in ch2 that they took him in, while in ch3 he is sad she's no longer marrying folce because he hoped they will really be in-laws
So it is kinda ??? ykno

Why is it "brother-in-law" it should be adopted brother or just brother once it's been clarified
