It sucks that the Manga is got axed because the writer admitted to molesting some teens (he deserves jail for that, and I'm actually surprised some girls came forward about it since Japanese is one of the societies that frown upon reporting sexual assault, I applaud them for their bravery).

But then again, considering this is Japan, if you are caught for statutory rape or sexual assault, you get a minimum sentence and after 10 years out of the public eye, no one cars anymore and you are back (if Japan's entertainment industry is anything to show for it. There are many examples of entertainer come backs after serious sexual crimes. Unless you are a "half-Japanese" female or female in general. If you get caught for cheating, you are basically out forever. Sexism and all that, but I digress.)

It also sucks that the artist is now out of a job too. I like their art style, so I hope they get a good series next time.

I've read Vagabond thrice lmao. I can just imagine this series as one of those that I enjoyed to read only to get dropped by translators and move on to another manga so I can just read this knowing it won't end

Real shame, degenerates will always exist as long as there are bad influences, and simple-minded people, but is a shame that such work just go to like this.

I always follow an artist for his work and just work, but i get that they have some kind of responsibility once they gained some notoriety, bc being ignorant like this can bring problems to other people and not only you, like the artist, i really hope he can get up and still working.
