I am sad. The mangaka didn't draw their last meeting as told by Livius

https://www.livius.org/sources/content/appian/appian-the-syrian-wars/appian-the-syrian-wars-2/

A very interesting encounter and we can agree that both of them respected each other

It got a bit rushed towards the end, but overall it was still great and the ending was still very fine. Thanks for translating.

not enough salt and Cato (the Elder of course, not that dipshit who fucked Scipio over) creaming himself in the afterlife, 7.8/10

Zama was very dumb and inaccurate.

This ending is good, fairly accurate. Missing the apocryphal Appian meeting though...

Well this is a sad ending and it also seems so true. War heroes are often ousted by slimy politicians when their country doesn't need them anymore. Also, thank you for the quality and diligent work. Really loved this manga.

Really wish it included their meeting in the court of Antiochus III after Zama, that could have been great. Otherwise, great!

Glad to see that although most people found zama to be… alright to put it nicely along with innacurate, the ending along with the most of the manga was still good even if it felt as though it got worse near the end. (Personally felt rushed/couldve used some more chapters)

The fact that such a bitter ending happened irl only makes it more impactful.

Overall went from a 9.5 to an 8/10
