Somehow I missed it all. How silly of me.6 years of good content thats about to get even better!
Well, I don't want to start any fights in the comments, your point of view caught my attention so as a very stan of Shimamura I'll reply respectfullyThis is the first comment I'm writing on this series so this isn't just about this chapter but my feelings that have been building reading the whole series so far, but as someone who loves reading Yuri I really hate Shimamura.
I get it's her character but I feel like everything up to now is trying to get the reader to hate her with how little she actually cares about Adachi, on the other hand I love Adachi and she's one of my favorite characters from the genre with how hard she tries and her determination, legitimately a little inspiring lol.
I love Adachi enough that I want to read this whole thing through just to see her get the happy ending she deserves, even if it has to be with Shimamura.
I also hope that the worst of her character (prob when she angrily hung up on Adachi who was clearly sobbing and mid-mental breakdown and proceeded to not care or think about it again) is past and her character will become more tolerable/emotionally invested from here on.
There's a error message when I try to click itSociopath? Lol. Read this maybe itβll elucidate you about the characters.
To answer your LN question Shima does fall in love with Adachi, she even says so. In death, Shima chose to stay with Adachi in the afterlife over Gon and her grandparents if that tells you anything.
Yeah I was gonna mention that but it was 1am when I typed that. And Adachi being very needy and possessive isn't an issue? Pipe it down, they both have their issues, Shimamura has never been emotive or good at expressing herself, she might enjoy being mean to Adachi a bit too much, though, but that's part of her distorted way of showing affection.
She's used to her GF's antics by now. That's part of Adachi's charm haha. It's a testament to how comfortable Shima is with Adachi, that she doesn't react to those quirky behaviors. It's also a testament to how patient Shima is with Adachi because most other people (or any other person) would not adjust to stuff like that. It's because it's juxtaposed with Adachi spitting up blood and confessing repeatedly. It's just a funny image being so blase in the face of all that.
People who are a bit too influenced by the manga they read and its unrealistic aspects. I can't imagine anyone is really out here with a rule not to date until they are madly in love with someone first? This is one of those opinions people only say when talking about fiction, not real life (you'd hope). And who decided the love she feels now isn't enough for a relationship?
