Generally not a fan of this author’s pacing and story writing. Not relaxing enough to be a slice-of-life (Natsume Book of Friends does this somewhat better), but without any building tension that would make any overarching narrative hook you in for intrigue or suspense, nor exciting enough for the action to drive interest (e.g. Youkai Gurentai), nor are the characters interesting enough to bring readership just for them. Just like with the Mononokean.

The only thing that would get me to read this is a girl in a gakuran. But I suspect this author is more likely to write a femboy than a reverse trap. Man, I just want a girl in a gakuran.
