Add recommendation system?

I honestly don't get why there isn't one already. Going to other sites for this is a bit bothersome, and my first impulse after reading a good manga is to go search for similar stuff. Searching by genre just doesn't cut it, and it would be great to hear from the community.

You could have Recommendations tab for each title, where recs are provided by users. You might even add up/down voting for self regulation. I'm not suggesting written justifications for recs right now because the review function should preceed it.

edit: imagine thinking reviews, recs, and curations aren't valuable assets in a world where time and money are valuable resources. For example, I ain't gonna waste my time and money to find out if The New Mutants is good or not. I'm gonna leave that to people with more of both. Surprise, I wasn't on the "go somewhere else" team.

Side note. REVIEWS, RECOMMENDATIONS, CURATORS, ECT ARE ALL STUPID IDEAS. Not counting Amazon reviews of a scammy as fuck seller or BBB business reviews... Form your own opinions, stop watching streamers, stop letting other people tell you what to think. Except for me.

@pandascepter It could be like MAL, where a user gets to have his name and review commemorated on his rec.

But I'd prefer anon recs, where other users get to vote on them (is it similar? agree/disagree), if the agreement rating gets lower than a certain point (maybe negative), the rec is removed.
