Hallo~ Does anyone have any suggestions of adult female leads? Particularly looking around the 30+ age range? (imreallytiredofreadingmangaboutteenagers)
I'm fine with any genre, btw!

ah the josei problem- the myth of the small demographic when i find this question soooo often- here's what i got! Shurayuki hime (classssic), Gozen 3-ji no Muhouchitai is mid 20s, Anything by Yamaji Ebine (indigo blue is a fave), My broken mariko, Sabishisugite Lesbian Fuuzoku ni Ikimashita Report (or my lesbian loneliness), Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan, Helter skelter (again mid 20s but so good), Futago, Oishii Kankei is alright a lil slow tho, Haru no Noroi, Ohana Holoholo

Most mangas show their female mcs in 25-30 rather than 30s unless it's josei or seinen coz then they'd be known as sugar momma or milph the age gap will too much.

If you are really fine with adult scenes you can check out "she's the girl",18+ pornhwa ,fmc was thought of as mc's bf's mom but was actually his step sister its what you looking fr , a 30+ lady ,its pornhwa so there ll be regular 18+ scenes

theres 'with the light/Hikari to Tomo ni' by keiko tobe, its listed here but not available, but an english translation is published by yen press in print, and on bookwalker as an ebook

its about a mom raising her autistic son, and it does a really well done and sensitive job on disability in japan. its a somewhere between a drama and slice of life so theres some serious topics like domestic abuse, but nothing as over the top as a soap opera. it has a very real world feel instead. the author died before finishing it but due to the sol aspect it doesnt leave it as a cliffhanger.

i really enjoyed it, and the art has a simple feel compared to most

@sealstruck what a coincidence that I just found this series and just put it in my PTR (like literally a few hours before). You have persuaded me to pick it up for real.

I guess Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai, Soredemo ai o Chikaimasu ka? (linked mangaupdates since the manga doesn't seem to have a page in mangadex), Mizutama Puzzle (the shortest thing in the list), Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu, Kiss & Never Cry (tbh I'm not sure how old the characters are but they're presumably fresh out of college...?), & (And) (that's the title btw), Complex Age, A Good Day to be a Dog, Solanin (this one has the youngest protagonist I think, but had to put it in), Kakafukaka, Kimi wa Pet, Familyman (though the female is not actually the lead, I wanted to mention this), Koi-iji, and Uchi no Danna ga Kawaii Sugiru Ken ni Tsuite.

I guess this is enough. Phew, I had more than I thought from the top off my head. Sorry that they're mostly romance You can't find everything on mangadex since a few are officially licensed but you know what to do.
Also, not all are about 30+ ladies, but they are all led by female protagonists that are of working age, around the 25 mark.
